While out for my daily jog on an island in Honduras, I was completely in my head and ignoring the world around me. As I turned a corner, going fast, I almost stepped right on top of a huge black rat snake. It completely scared me (and I it!), and as it slithered away from me, I was suddenly in my body and the moment.

I started to walk gently through the jungle, and as I did, I came upon a group of about 30 hermit crabs exchanging shells. I never would've noticed them if not for that snake bringing me back to the moment. It was one of the most magical things I have ever seen. I spent the rest of that walk reveling in the world around me.

The flow of the natural world can teach us so many things, and when we tap into that journey, we begin to experience the real magic that's available to us.

All of the textures and colors in this outfit are photographs from that area, and the drawing represents the sheer magnificence of the natural divine that I felt that day. If not for the lesson from that snake to slow down, I would've missed it all.
