"Feather Family," is a meditation dome art installation created by artist Jodi Sharp. The beautiful 13’ x 9' meditation dome is filled with over 70 stained glass feathers and a beautiful seating area. The ground cover is painted with sacred geometry and covered in comfortable pillows.

The intent of this art-filled meditation dome is a reflection on the idea of chosen family and the new alternative communities that we have the capacity to create.

The initial concept came from the book, "A Long Way to a Small Angry Planet," by Becky Chambers. In her books, the characters exchange feathers when they choose non-biological family members. (Read more on the blog HERE)

Today we get the joy of choosing what individuals make up our families. We connect because of ideals and values, forming new tribes. This dome is a celebration of all of the beautiful humans we get to choose.

The ceiling is covered in hanging glass feathers. Each one is handmade and completely unique, representing the vast array of humans we can invite into our lives. Each glass feather has an inset crystal and brings different energy into space.

The booking of this meditation dome art installation is the base booking cost per day. The art installation comes with a 13’ x 9’ dome, 70+ hanging glass feathers, printed ground cover, and seating cushions.
