“When we protect ourselves so we won't feel pain, that protection becomes like armor, like armor that imprisons the softness of of the heart.” - Pema Chodron

This life-sized Trjegul glass panther head helps us meditate on the Divine protection that is available to us. This sculpture of Freyja’s protection guardians reminds us to open our hearts without fear, and live in our feminine power, stronger than ever before.

Our heart is our most powerful gift. It is the centre of intuition and love, joy and care. But because it is the most sensitive part of our emotions, it is easy to have our hearts get injured. So we armor off our heart because of trauma and difficult experiences.

While it is important to protect ourselves, it is also good to remember that we have Divine support that cares for us. When we trust in this support we can move through life with hearts that are fluid and strong. Able to withstand challenging emotions, and still be gracious and loving.

In Norse mythology, Trjegul is one of the cats that leads and protects Freyja’s chariot. Freyja is the ultimate embodiment of the feminine Divine, but even she had supports around her so she could live fiercely and safely within her power.

Her black panthers are the most courageous guardians, deeply embodied in the magic of intuition and grace. They support us in reclaiming our power and living in our feminine hearts. Freyja’s falcon feathers surround the sculpture, which symbolize the healing of the soul and the vitality of the spirit.

The glass heart has an all-seeing eye in its centre, reminding us of the capacity we have for insight when we live through our hearts. The silver sheen obsidian in the forehead is a deeply protecting stone, fierce in the face of adversity and the opener of the third eye.

The wolf is the symbol of guardianship, loyalty, and spirit. They teach us to trust our hearts and minds and have control over our own lives. The wolf teeth come from a village in Tibet, where the headers have to kill wolves that attack them. Every part of the animal is then respectfully used, and they sell the teeth so that nothing goes to waste.

This panther head is life-sized and has an inbuilt structure so it can hang on any wall. It has a 1.5 inch silver sheen obsidian stone in its forehead, and real wolf teeth inset in its mouth.
